Privacy Policy

We collect the email and profile photo your Google account provides, the profile fields you choose to fill, and attendance records from the live room (join and leave times). Nickname is required. Gender, age range, social links, employer, interests, and goals are optional.

If you open your profile to 5am Network members, they can see the fields you chose to disclose. Closing it hides you from Network immediately.

We use Railway (hosting and database), LiveKit Cloud (video), Resend (the welcome email and the contact form), and Google (sign-in). We do not sell personal data. We do not record the room in this version.

The contact form sends your name, email, optional subject, and message by email through Resend. We use that only to reply. It is not stored in the app database and is not added to a mailing list.

Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance may apply. You may ask to correct personal data or delete your account by emailing hello@5am.network.

If you use the optional earlier-waking plan, we store your safety-screen answers, wake settings, and daily check-ins in our database so the plan can run. Those answers are not sent to Google Analytics. Analytics for that plan, when it is switched on, records only coarse facts such as locale, phase, and tip id.
